GT Agricultura 4.0

We want digitalization to become an integral part of our companies' business. This will create additional value for your customers, farmers and agribusinesses, while growing your business and improving efficiency. All through the promotion of extensive digital competencies among members and all staff.

Who?

Directed by entrepreneurs and driving people in the Agricultural Machinery and Means of Production sector who want to share and help define a Sustainability Strategy at FEMAC.

What?

Identify those key technologies. How could we implement digitalization strategies within companies and organizations? What actions can be implemented within the Cluster to help its members?

How?

We will work in the key of open innovation, sharing ideas and joint proposals. Defining methodologies, content, in search of the answers and lines of action that our partners demand.

The challenge

Internet of Things

IoT technology involves the exchange of data between networked objects: sensors, smart machines and even satellites, for example. In addition to boosting sustainability and productivity, it can further improve the quality, transparency and traceability of agricultural products.

Blockchain

The application of blockchain technology is seen as one of the great promises of agriculture to improve food traceability, distribute aid or improve transparency, although it remains to be seen whether it has similar benefits for small producers.

Robotic

Agricultural robotics is, today, in the advanced prototype phase, in what is called TRL level 7 of technological maturity, which is equivalent to the ability to demonstrate a system or prototype in a real environment, for which, except for some exceptions, it has not yet reached the necessary maturity to address its real and widespread implementation in the sector.
